Pink Floyd; a band with many ways of showing it’s potential and took it, ran with it and succeeded. Pink Floyd has always been one of my favorites. From “Wish You Were Here” to “Comfortably Numb” this band has taken it’s all, put it into music and came out on top.

In 1974, Pink Floyd won the NME award for British Album for their “Dark Side of the Moon” album; as well as the NME for world album for the same; also in 1974. Among many other awards in between, Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance in the year 1995, Porin Award for Best Foreign Video also in 1995, Polar Music Prize for Popular Music in 2008, also in 2008 (and 1999) they received their way into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

It’s no shock that Pink Floyd is a winner for every listener. Personally, they’re on my top 10 of my favorite bands.
